DAVIS, Donald M., a Representative from Fayette and Greene Counties; born in Fairchance, Fayette County, Pa., June 6, 1915; graduated, Georges High School, 1932; first sergeant, 48th Infantry Scout Dog Platoon, United States Army (1944-1946, World War II); employed, Metropolitan Life Insurance (10 years); credit management, furniture store; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1968 and 1970 to serve the 53rd Legislative District; reelected to the House as a Democrat in 1972 and 1974 to the 50th Legislative District; resigned from the House, February 25, 1976; elected, clerk of courts, Fayette County (1976); died, October 23, 1976 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mountain View Memorial Park, Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
