STABACK, Edward G., a Representative from Lackawanna and Wayne Counties; born in Olyphant, Lackawanna County, Pa., July 2, 1937; graduated, Saint Patrick’s High School, 1955; B.A., business economics, King’s College, 1959; district manager, Commercial Credit Savings and Loan (24 years); Democrat borough chair, Archbald; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1985 term; reelected to serve 13 more consecutive terms; appointed, Task Force on Commonwealth-Owned Lands (2002); appointed, Chesapeake Bay Commission (2007-2008); appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (2011-2012); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2012); appointed, commissioner, Lackawanna County (2015); died, November 19, 2022 in Nebraska; interred, Saint Mary's Cemetery and Mausoleum, Montdale, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
