BALDWIN, William E., a Representative from Northumberland and Schuylkill Counties; born in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pa., March 6, 1948; B.S., Lehigh University, 1970; J.D., University of Maryland Law School, 1975; served, United States Marine Corps Reserves (1970-1976); attorney; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1983 term and served 2 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee to Investigate the Department of Aging's Directive #83-12 (1983-1984); resigned from the House, January 3, 1988; elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Schuylkill County (1988-2021; president judge, 1998-2021).
