CHADWICK, Jon Scot, a Representative from Bradford and Susquehanna Counties; born in Troy, Bradford County, Pa., September 13, 1953; graduated, Towanda High School, 1971; B.S. political science, Bucknell University, 1975; J.D., Villanova University School of Law, 1978; lawyer; Assistant District Attorney, Bradford County (1980-1981); Bradford County Republican Committeeman; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1985 term and served 7 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee on Rules Review (1993); appointed, Select Committee for Open-Heart Surgery (1996); appointed, chair, Select Committee on Rules Review (1999); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2000); director, governmental affairs, Pennsylvania Medical Society (2004-present); chairman, Derry Township Industrial and Commercial Development Authority (2008).
