MARSICO, Ronald S., a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pa., October 30, 1947; graduated, Bishop McDevitt High School, 1965; B.A., industrial sociology, Ohio State University, 1971; served, United States Army Reserves (1967-1973); owner, Scarlet Woods Landscape Company (1976-1985); special assistant, Office of Pennsylvania Attorney General (1981-1987); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1989 term; reelected to the House to serve 14 more consecutive terms; appointed, Select Committee on Eminent Domain (1997-1998); appointed, Select Committee on Alternatives for the Operation of the Philadelphia International Airport (2000); elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (2008); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2018).
