WOGAN, Christopher R., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., February 15, 1950; graduated, Cardinal Dougherty High School; B.A., La Salle College, 1972; J.D., Temple University Law School, 1975; captain, field artillery, United States Army Reserve; lieutenant colonel, Judge Advocate General’s Corps, United States Army Reserve; United States Army Command and General Staff College; lawyer, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (1979-1981); trial attorney, private practice (1976-2001); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1981 term and served 10 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee to Investigate the Pennsylvania State Police (1986); resigned from the House, January 9, 2002; elected, judge, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County (2002-2021).
