WOZNIAK, John N., a Representative from Cambria County; born in Fort Knox, Ky., March 21, 1956; graduated, Johnstown High School, 1974; B.A., economics, University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, 1978; laborer and metal fabricator (1978-1980); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1981 term and served 7 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1996); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1997-2016); appointed, Local Government Commission (1999-2016); appointed, Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee (2001-2006); appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (2001-2016); appointed, board, Center for Rural Pennsylvania (2003-2010, 2013-2016); appointed, Capitol Preservation Committee (2009-2012); appointed, board, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) (2011-2016); commissioner, Pennsylvania Turnpike (2017-2022).
