LENTZ, Bryan R., a Representative from Delaware County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., 1964; graduated, Wissahickon High School; A.A., Valley Forge Military Junior College, 1984; B.A., philosophy, Georgetown University, 1986; J.D., Temple University School of Law, 1993; major, United States Army and United States Army Reserve (Iraq War: Bronze Star and War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal recipient); attorney; Assistant District Attorney, Philadelphia County; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2007 and 2009 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 2011 term; unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (2010); commissioner, Pennsylvania State Civil Service (December 2, 2016-present).
