EVERETT, Garth David, a Representative from Lycoming County; born in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pa., January 28, 1954; graduated, Montoursville Area High School, 1972; B.S. business, The Pennsylvania State University, 1976; J.D., The Pennsylvania University Dickinson School of Law, 2000; lieutenant colonel, United States Air Force (1976-1997); attorney; elected as a Republican for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 2007 term; reelected to the House for 6 more consecutive terms; appointed, Public Employee Retirement Commission (2009-2020); appointed, board, Center for Rural Pennsylvania (2011-2020); appointed, Chesapeake Bay Commission (2011-2020; president, 2017-2020); not a candidate for reelection to the House (2020); member, board of trustees, Penn College; died, January 28, 2023 in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
