Terry L. Punt (R), born 1949, in Waynesboro, foster son of Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Sharrah; Waynesboro Senior High School, 1967; 2 children; died December 28, 2009.

Early Career:

U.S. Army, 1967-70; member, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Loyal Order of Moose, Waynesboro Fish & Game Association; Protestant.

Awards:

Pancoe Legislature of the Year, Who’s Who in American Politics, National Federation of Independent Businesses Guardian of Small Business Award, Pa. American Legion Patriot Award, Chapel of Four Chaplains Legion of Honor Award.

Pennsylvania Politics:

Pa. House of Representatives 1978-88; elected to Pa. Senate 1988; chair, Community & Economic Development Committee; vice-chair, Military & Veterans Affairs Committee; member, State Government, Agricultural & Rural Affairs, Transportation Commission; left office November 30, 2008.
