Thompson McIntire; Dickinson College; Marshall College, Mercersburg, Pennsylvania; entered the law office of his father, read law until of age, admitted to the bar, practiced his profession until the time of his death; nominated, elected, District Attorney, Perry County; elected, Democrat, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1868-1870; married, Margaret Frances Peale McIntire; died, March 13, 1886 (aged 56 years, 2 months, 10 days), New Bloomfield, Perry County, Pennsylvania; interment, Bloomfield Cemetery, New Bloomfield, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
