Early Life:

Charles D. Lemmond Jr. (R), born January 1929, son of the late Charles D. and Ruth Zierdt Lemmond; died May 30, 2012; Harvard College; University of Pennsylvania Law School; married Barbara; 4 children.

Early Career:

U.S. Army; attorney; former judge, Court of Common Pleas, Luzerne County; former 1st assistant District Attorney, assistant District Attorney, Luzerne County; former solicitor, various boroughs, townships & school districts in Northeastern Pennsylvania; former Potentate, Irem (Shriner’s) Temple; 33rd degree Mason; trustee, Wyoming Conference of United Methodist Church; member, advisory board, Pennsylvania State University- Wilkes Barre Campus, Salvation Army; life member board of trustees, Wyoming Seminary; board member, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Association (PHEAA); member, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Wilkes-Barre Law Library Association, Task Force on Decedent’s Estates.

Awards:

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Guardian of Small Business Award.

Pennsylvania Politics:
