Samuel King, born about 1760, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Province of Pennsylvania, British Colonial America; merchant; moved to Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; married, Polly Coulter 1791; married, Anne Marshall, 1796; Deputy Recorder, Fayette County, 1794; appointed, Postmaster of Uniontown, 1795; elected, Federalist, State Senate, 1798-1802; died, August 5, 1803, Fayette County.  Burial location unknown.
