Richard A. Kasunic (D), born in 1947, in Dunbar, son of Walter A. and Gertrude Bashinsky Kasunic; Dunbar Township High School, 1964; Robert Morris Junior College (A.A.), business administration; Youngstown State University (B.S.), business administration; one son, Richard A. II.

Early Career:

Pennsylvania National Guard, 1970-76; former member, Fay-Penn Economic Development Council Executive Committee, sponsoring committee-Penn’s Southwest Association, Penn State University- Fayette Campus Advisory Board, Fayette County Local Emergency Planning Committee, St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, Mon-Valley Tri-State Network Advisory Council, Youghiogheny River Conservation Plan, NRA, St. Aloysius Church; former board member Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Western PA & WV Chapter, American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, PENNVEST, Fayette County Community Action Agency.
