Born about 1810, Orwigsburg, the son of state Senator Peter and Maria Magdalena Drinkhaus Frailey, Charles Frailey introduced an incorporation bill for the Offerman Mining and Railroad Company’s operation in Schuylkill County, 1838; served as sheriff, 1828; prothonotary, 1842-1860; register of wills and clerk of the orphans court, 1831; member of the state House of Representatives, 1833, 1855; state Senate 1836-1840; 1850-1852; and later lived in Tremont and served as a judge in Schuylkill County.  He married Mary Conner, 1822.   The senator died on February 19, 1873.**
