Conrad Feger, Sr., born July 2, 1758, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America; son of Johannes Heinrich Feger and Susannah Margaretha Lentz; major, Revolutionary War; unsuccessful campaigns, Sheriff, Berks County, 1796, 1799, 1802; elected, Sheriff, Berks County 1806-1808; operated a tavern inside the jail; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1808; elected, Federalist, Republican, Pennsylvania State House of Representatives 1810-1814; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1812; elected, Federalist, Pennsylvania State Senate 1820-1824; married, Elizabeth Snyder Schneider, children, Daniel Feger, Elizabeth Feger Mellon, Jacob Schneider Feger, Conrad Feger; died, April 16, 1837 (aged 78), Berks County, Pennsylvania; interment, Spies Zion Cemetery, Alsace Manor, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
