Born in Moore Township, Northampton County, September 5, 1851, the son of John Adam and Mary Ann (Graver) Danner, Thomas Danner was educated in public schools, Weaversville Academy, Kutztown State Normal School; and graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1879.  He taught for several years in the Northampton County school system and served as a school director in Coplay, Lehigh County.  Formerly admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1879, Thomas became a member of the Northampton County bar association in 1890.  He was appointed Solicitor to the Board of Inspectors of Northampton County Prison, 1892; Solicitor of the city of Easton, 1898-1902; and elected chair of the Northampton County Democratic Committee, 1901-1904.  After legislative service, the senator resumed the practice of law and service to his community.  He married Sarah Alice Howell.  Thomas Danner died on September 19, 1929.
