Biography

1793 - 1863

Senator Geiger was the son of Paul and Sara (Sens/Sands) Geiger of Berks County, born on August 27, 1793. He was a farmer; was elected to the state House of Representatives for the term 1829-1831, and served in the state Senate, 1832-1836. He died August 8, 1863, near Geigerstown, Berks County. The senator married Hanna Sands.
