VICKERMAN, John W., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, May 21, 1868 in England; attended, public schools of Pittsburgh; secretary, Railway Y.M.C.A. of Pittsburgh and Altoona; publisher, City and Suburban Life, Bellevue, Pa.; editor, Allegheny Life; superintendent, Methodist Episcopal Sunday School of Bellevue (1905-1930); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1915 term and reelected for 4 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1924); head, Elections Bureau of Allegheny County (1932); died, September 12, 1932, in Bellevue, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
