STARK, Oscar D., a Representative from Wyoming County; born in Lemon Township, Wyoming County, Pa., August 3, 1865; graduated, Keystone Academy; graduated, Mansfield Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania), 1888; served, Company G, 13th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard (1888-1891); principal, Mehoopany High School (8 years); manager and superintendent, machine department, Buda Manufacturing Company, Chicago; farmer; supervisor, Lemon Township (6 years); elected, secretary and treasurer, Board of Supervisors, Lemon Township (12 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1919 term and served 5 more consecutive terms; died while in office, May 26, 1929 in Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
