SPEISER, Martha Glazer, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, May 15, 1884 in Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland; Philadelphia chair, Red Cross (World War I); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1923 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1924); member, Philadelphia Orchestra Association; member, Philadelphia Council of the Performing Arts; died, September 22, 1968 in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
