HALL, John Augustus Fritchey, a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pa., July 8, 1890; Ph.B., Dickinson College, 1912; served, North Bombing Squadron, United States Navy (World War I); English teacher, Central High School; lawyer;  judicial appointee, United States Commissioner, Middle District of Pennsylvania (1919-1922); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1923 term and reelected to serve the following 2 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1928 General election; member, State Veterans’ Commission (1929-1931); elected, treasurer, Harrisburg (1932-1935); elected, mayor, Harrisburg (1936-1940); member, Dauphin County Board of Viewers (1 year); died, March 10, 1949 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
