BELL, William Templeton, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, August 8, 1873 in Salineville, Columbiana County, Oh.; telegraph operator; employee, traffic department, Pennsylvania Railroad (51 years); committee clerk, Republican Caucus, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1917-1922); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1922; served 4 more consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1932); died, August 2, 1952 in Sheridan, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; interred, Center Cemetery, Midway, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
