Ensures an enrolled student who is older than 21 with an active IEP during the 2021-2022 school year remains eligible for IDEA services; requires PDE to create a standard election form; provides a deadline for a parent/ guardian to elect an additional year of education services; requires a school to take all steps necessary to comply with IDEA; and allows the Secretary of Education to waive student data and this election from a teacher’s evaluation.
