The amendment updates the definition of “personal injury crime” within the Crime Victims Act, moves administrative responsibility to support the Office of Victim Advocate from PBPP to DOC while also providing a process for removal of the Victim Advocate only for cause, clarifies that both a crime victim and a victim’s family member may provide input to the PBPP during the parole process, and makes other technical changes.
