Makes several changes throughout the bill. The Definition of “Participating network provider” is amended to add podiatrists and remove physical therapists; Section 5 is amended to clarify if a provider can’t meet the standard of care by using telemedicine they are required to direct the patient to seek in-person care; Section 6 is amended to clarify that insurers are only required to cover services provided through telemedicine if it is clinically appropriate to use telemedicine for that service; and the effective date of the insurance requirement is extended.
