Brief Description
The amendment makes the following changes to the bill: It provides that an appeal on a decision relating to application for a restoration of rights would go to the Commonwealth Court. It clarifies that applicant themselves are entitled to copies of the mental health records upon which the court will be basing its decision. And the amendment provides that persons who are currently subject to a firearm prohibitor because of an emergency involuntary mental health commitment must pursue a restoration of their firearm rights pursuant to the petition process established under the bill.
