Carries over all current provisions relating to the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs from the Tax Reform Code to the Public School Code with the following changes: * Increases the amount of tax credits available in the EITC program by $25 which is allocated in the same proportion as provided for in current law; *Provides that the first $10 million in tax credits available for reallocation through the "open door" shall be set aside initially for contributions to pre-kindergarten scholarship organizations. * Includes provisions that update DCED's notification of awards and application acceptance requirements.
