Amends Act 66 of 1953, known as the Vital Statistics Law, by requiring funeral directors and crematories to ascertain whether a deceased person is a veteran, or a spouse or dependent child of a veteran (hereafter referred to as dependent); and requires proper notification to a veteran’s organization for burial arrangements if the remains go unclaimed.
