Brief Description
Amends Title 51 (Military Affairs) by creating a new chapter that adds the language of Act 114 of 2008, which created the Long-Term Care Patient Access to Pharmaceuticals Act to allow authorized pharmacists and pharmacies associated with nursing homes to relabel, repackage and dispense prescription drugs which nursing home residents are able to acquire through the U.S. Veterans’ Administration (VA); and requires the installation of a secure lockbox for the drugs.
