                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 22, 1931 (P.L.594), entitled "An act
     2     establishing certain township roads as State highways;
     3     authorizing their construction, maintenance, and improvement
     4     under certain conditions and restrictions; limiting the
     5     obligation of the Commonwealth in the construction of certain
     6     structures located on such highways; conferring certain
     7     powers upon the Department of Highways and local authorities,
     8     persons, associations and corporations for sharing the cost
     9     of the maintenance and construction of such highways; and
    10     making an appropriation to carry out the provisions of said
    11     act," adding a route in Lycoming County.

    12     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    13  hereby enacts as follows:
    14     Section 1. The act of June 22, 1931 (P.L.594), entitled "An
    15  act establishing certain township roads as State highways;
    16  authorizing their construction, maintenance, and improvement
    17  under certain conditions and restrictions; limiting the
    18  obligation of the Commonwealth in the construction of certain
    19  structures located on such highways; conferring certain powers
    20  upon the Department of Highways and local authorities, persons,
    21  associations and corporations for sharing the cost of the
    22  maintenance and construction of such highways; and making an
    23  appropriation to carry out the provisions of said act," is

     1  amended by adding the following new route:
     2                          Lycoming County
     3     Route 41152. Beginning at a point on former Township Road 543
     4  at the Montoursville Borough--Fairfield Township line, thence in
     5  a generally northeasterly direction over former Township Road
     6  543 to its intersection with former Township Road 547, thence
     7  continuing in a generally northeasterly direction over former
     8  Township Road 547 to its intersection with Legislative Route
     9  41056, a distance of approximately 2.7 miles in Fairfield
    10  Township, Lycoming County.
    11     Section 2. Section 402, act of September 18, 1961 (P.L.1389),
    12  entitled "An act establishing and taking over as State highways
    13  certain county highways, or sections thereof, tunnels, bridges,
    14  viaducts and approaches thereto, in counties, and certain
    15  streets and bridges in cities of the first class and in cities
    16  of the second class, and certain streets in cities of the second
    17  class A and third class, and certain township roads and certain
    18  streets in boroughs and incorporated towns; authorizing under
    19  certain terms and conditions their construction, maintenance,
    20  repair, reconstruction and improvement by the Commonwealth;
    21  conferring certain powers upon Department of Highways and local
    22  authorities, persons, associations and corporations for sharing
    23  the cost of the maintenance and construction of such highways;
    24  and deleting certain State highways," is repealed in so far as
    25  it relates to Route 41152, in Fairfield Township, Lycoming
    26  County.
    27     Section 3. The highway hereby established as a State highway
    28  shall be taken over for construction and maintenance on the
    29  effective date of this act.
    30     Section 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
