AN ACT
Designating a bridge, identified as Bridge Key 46706, carrying
State Route 4001, also known as Iverson Road, over Stevens
Run in Blacklick Township, Cambria County, as the PVT Donald
D. Marsh Memorial Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. PVT Donald D. Marsh Memorial Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) PVT Donald D. Marsh was born April 5, 1924.
(2) PVT Marsh was from Nicktown, Pennsylvania.
(3) PVT Marsh attended Blacklick Township High School.
(4) PVT Marsh joined the United States Army on November
8, 1943.
(5) PVT Marsh was killed in action on October 31, 1944,
during the World War II conflict with Axis forces in France.
(6) PVT Marsh was awarded the Purple Heart following his
passing for his dedicated and honorable service to the United
States.

(b) Designation.--The bridge, identified as Bridge Key
46706, carrying State Route 4001, also known as Iverson Road,
over Stevens Run in Blacklick Township, Cambria County, is
designated the PVT Donald D. Marsh Memorial Bridge.
(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to
traffic in both directions on the bridge.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
