AN ACT
Amending Title 27 (Environmental Resources) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in waste transportation safety,
further providing for definitions.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The definition of "waste trailer" in section 6202
of Title 27 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended
to read:
ยง 6202. Definitions.
The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
context clearly indicates otherwise:

"Waste trailer." A vehicle having a registered weight in
excess of [10,000] 15,000 pounds used to carry waste and
designed to be towed by a motor vehicle.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
