AN ACT
Designating a bridge, identified as Bridge Key 53848, carrying
Pennsylvania Route 36 over Canoe Creek in Bell Township,
Jefferson County, as the PFC Larry E. Frantz Memorial Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. PFC Larry E. Frantz Memorial Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) Larry E. Frantz was born April 20, 1948, in
Punxsutawney, Jefferson County.
(2) Before enlisting in the United States Army, PFC
Frantz loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, working in
construction and driving fast cars. He was especially fond of
his dog, "Whimpy."
(3) Upon enlisting, PFC Frantz served in the Vietnam War
with B Company, 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 25th
Infantry Division.
(4) On the night of August 29, 1968, PFC Frantz was
