A RESOLUTION
Recognizing November 11, 2021, as "Veterans Day" in
Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, Since the founding of our Commonwealth to modern day
operations and missions, Pennsylvania veterans have served our
great nation; and
WHEREAS, This Commonwealth is home to one of the highest
veteran populations in the United States, with more than 840,000
men and women who have served our country; and
WHEREAS, Veterans make up 7.5% of the population in
Pennsylvania; and
WHEREAS, Veterans thrive as members of their community,
supporting and inspiring the next generation to lead; and
WHEREAS, Veterans have a higher workforce participation than

nonveterans; and
WHEREAS, Individuals in public service have a duty to serve
those who have served our country; and
WHEREAS, "Veterans Day" reminds us of our shared
responsibility to recognize the service and sacrifice of
veterans and extend our continued support; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize
November 11, 2021, as "Veterans Day" in Pennsylvania.
