AN ACT
Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in hunting and furtaking licenses, further
providing for resident license and fee exemptions.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2706 of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
ยง 2706. Resident license and fee exemptions.

(h) Health care worker hunting licenses.--A health care
worker shall be entitled to purchase a resident hunting license
at the cost of $1 plus the current issuing fee upon application
to the commission. An application under this subsection shall
contain the same information as is required for other resident
hunting license applications and documentation that the
applicant is a health care worker. A health care worker may
receive only one resident hunting license under this subsection
for fiscal year 2021-2022 and one resident hunting license under

this subsection for fiscal year 2022-2023. The commission may
not issue a resident hunting license under this subsection after
June 30, 2023. The commission may promulgate regulations to
implement this subsection. As used in this subsection, the term
"health care worker" means an employee of a medical, health care
or public health facility, including a physician, nursing
professional, physician assistant, paramedic or other support
staff person.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
