AN ACT
Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in COVID-19 disaster emergency,
providing for Department of Transportation.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 57 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subchapter to read:
SUBCHAPTER F
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
Sec.
5751. Extension of expiration.
ยง 5751. Extension of expiration.
Notwithstanding any law or regulation to the contrary, the
expiration of a registration, learner's permit, driver's license
or identification card as provided for under 75 Pa.C.S. Pt. II
(relating to title, registration and licensing) shall be
extended during the period of proclamation of disaster emergency
issued by the Governor on March 6, 2020, any extension of the

proclamation of disaster emergency and for 90 days after the
proclamation of disaster emergency is terminated or expires.
Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
