A RESOLUTION
Extending the temporary emergency Rules of the Senate.
WHEREAS, On March 18, 2020, the Senate adopted temporary
emergency Rules of the Senate; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary to extend the operation of those
rules; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the final resolved clause of Senate Resolution
No. 318, Printer's No. 1596 (2020), adopting temporary emergency
Rules of the Senate, be amended to read:
RESOLVED, That this resolution shall expire [July 31]
September 30, 2020, or 10 days following the expiration of the
emergency declaration, whichever is earlier, unless otherwise
further extended in accordance with the Rules of the Senate.
