AN ACT
Designating the portion of State Route 2012 South beginning at
the intersection of South Courtland Street and Day Street and
ending at its intersection with Brown Street in East
Stroudsburg Borough, Monroe County, as the Samuel Newman Way.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Samuel Newman Way.
(a) Designation.--The portion of State Route 2012 South
beginning at the intersection of South Courtland Street and Day
Street and ending at its intersection with Brown Street in East
Stroudsburg Borough, Monroe County, is designated the Samuel
Newman Way.
(b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the highway to
traffic in both directions on the highway.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
