AN ACT
Designating the bridge on Locust Road over Dixon Run in Green
Township, Indiana County, as the Technician Fourth Grade
William Balogh Memorial Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The Technician Fourth Grade William Balogh Memorial
Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) Technician Fourth Grade William Balogh honorably
served his country during World War II.
(2) Balogh served with the United States Army,
Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 112th Infantry from
April 25, 1941, to July 24, 1945.
(3) Balogh was detained as a prisoner of war by the
Germans at Stalag 9B Bad Orb Hessen-Nassau, Prussia 50-IX.
(4) For his service, Balogh received a Good Conduct
Medal, American Defense Service Medal and European African
Middle Eastern Service Ribbon.
