A RESOLUTION
Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Golden Gate Lodge
#33.
WHEREAS, The Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons is the
oldest, largest and most widely known fraternal organization in
the world; and
WHEREAS, The organization was formed and exists on the broad
basis of brotherly love, relief and truth; and
WHEREAS, Freemasonry teaches the Golden Rule, seeking to make
good men better through its firm belief in the fatherhood of God
and the brotherhood of man; and
WHEREAS, Freemasonry promotes kindness in the home, honesty
in business, courtesy in society, fairness in work, pity and
concern for the unfortunate, resistance toward evil, help for
the weak, forgiveness for the patient, love for one another and
above all, reverence and love for God; and
WHEREAS, The Tenets of Freemasonry are ethical principles
accepted by all good men and teach tolerance toward all mankind;
