AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in size, weight and load, further providing for
width of vehicles.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 4921 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
ยง 4921. Width of vehicles.

(e.3) Transport of boats.--For any vehicle transporting a
boat on a trailer or boat transporter that exceeds the width
limit under subsection (a), but is not greater than 10 feet, the
department shall issue, upon application, an annual permit for
the movement of the oversized boat across any highway, at any
point between sunrise and sunset. The department, in its sole
discretion, may impose any safety requirements for issuing an
annual permit.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
