AN ACT
Designating the bridge, identified as Bridge Key 45676, carrying
Pennsylvania Route 26 over Yellow Creek in Hopewell Township,
Bedford County, as the Colonel Joseph M. Stine Memorial
Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The Colonel Joseph M. Stine Memorial Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) Colonel Joseph M. Stine, a native of Everett, gave
his life in service to his country during the Vietnam
Conflict.
(2) Colonel Stine joined the United States Air Force
just a few days after graduating from Everett Area High
School in 1949.
(3) Colonel Stine received his pilot wings in 1953 in
Big Springs, Texas, and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant.
