AN ACT
Making appropriations from the General Fund to the Treasury
Department for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019, and
for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the
close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
PART I
PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
Section 101. Short title.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the Appropriation
Act of 2019 – Treasury Department.
PART III
GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATIONS
FOR 2019-2020
Section 301. Appropriations from General Fund.
The following amounts, or as much thereof as may be
necessary, are hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the
Treasury Department for the purposes specified in this part for
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2019, and for the payment of

bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal
year ending June 30, 2020:

For general government
operations of the Treasury
Department including the
administration of Article XIII.1
of the act of April 9, 1929
(P.L.343, No.176), known as The
Fiscal Code.

For the Board of Finance and
Revenue.
State appropriation....... 2,956,000
For divestiture reimbursement.
State appropriation....... 39,000
For the payment of the
Commonwealth's portion of the
expenses of various councils,
commissions, conferences, boards,
associations, coalitions and
institutes which are multistate
organizations of which the
Commonwealth has been a member
for at least one year and which
membership enables the
Commonwealth government to
represent the citizens of
Pennsylvania, such organizations
being designed to promote or

protect the member states'
interests, or which promote
governmental financial excellence
or accountability.

by the loan and transfer agent.

Section 502. Effective date.
This act shall take effect July 1, 2019, or immediately,
whichever is later.
