AN ACT
Providing for the duty of health care providers to publish the
cost of health care procedures.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Short title.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the Health Care
Cost Transparency Act.
Section 2. Duties of health care providers.
A health care provider operating in this Commonwealth shall
publish the cost of health care procedures.
Section 3. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
