AN ACT
Designating a bridge on that portion of State Route 85 over the
north branch of Plum Creek, Plumville Borough, Indiana
County, as the Henry Lue Weaver Memorial Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Henry Lue Weaver Memorial Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) Private First Class Henry Lue Weaver was a native of
Plumville, Indiana County, and graduated from Marion Center
Area High School.
(2) PFC Weaver was drafted into the United States Army
in August 1966 and completed basic training at Fort Jackson
in South Carolina.
(3) On April 22, 1967, PFC Weaver was killed in action
in South Vietnam while serving with the 35th Infantry
Regiment, 25th Division.
(4) While growing up in Plumville, PFC Weaver walked
across the bridge being designated in his honor almost daily.

(b) Designation.--The bridge located on State Route 85 over
the north branch of Plum Creek in Plumville Borough, Indiana
County, is designated the Henry Lue Weaver Memorial Bridge.
(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to
traffic in both directions on the bridge.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
