A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the Imhotep Institute Charter High School boys
basketball team for its second consecutive PIAA Class 4A
championship.
WHEREAS, The Imhotep Institute Charter High School boys
basketball team has successfully defended its PIAA Class 4A
State title; and
WHEREAS, It is the sixth PIAA boys basketball championship
title for the Imhotep Panthers; and
WHEREAS, The team previously won the 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013
and 2017 State titles and posted back-to-back top 10 finishes in
the USA Today rankings as a result of its dedication and hard
work; and
WHEREAS, The Imhotep boys basketball team brought recognition
and pride to the City of Philadelphia and this Commonwealth as a
result of the consecutive seasons of championship caliber
basketball; and

WHEREAS, Coach Andre Noble and his staff provided outstanding
leadership and dedicated service to these extraordinary athletes
comprising the Panthers team; and
WHEREAS, The coaches, managers, cheerleaders, parents,
student body and faculty, as well as the community, supported
and applauded this successful season; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
Imhotep Institute Charter High School boys basketball team for
its second consecutive PIAA Class 4A championship.
