AN ACT
Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in nuisances, providing for chronic
nuisances.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 6506. Chronic nuisances.
(a) Offenses.--Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a
person who commits two or more of any of the following offenses
within a two-year period shall be sentenced to pay enhanced
penalties under subsection (b):
(1) An offense under section 3304(a)(4) (relating to
criminal mischief).
(2) An offense under section 5503 (relating to
disorderly conduct).
(3) An offense under section 5505 (relating to public
drunkenness and similar misconduct).

(4) An offense under section 5506 (relating to loitering
and prowling at night time).
(5) An offense under section 6501 (relating to
scattering rubbish).
(6) An offense under section 6504 (relating to public
nuisances).
(b) Penalties.--
(1) A person who commits a second offense listed under
subsection (a) shall be sentenced to pay a fine equal to
double the penalty imposed for a first offense.
(2) A person who commits a third or subsequent offense
listed under subsection (a) shall be sentenced to pay a fine
equal to triple the penalty imposed for a first offense.
(3) Additional fines imposed under this section shall be
returned to the issuing law enforcement agency.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
