AN ACT
Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in marriage license, prohibiting fraud
on marriage license application.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 23 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 1311. Fraud on marriage license application.
An applicant who commits fraud on a marriage license
application shall relinquish any right to alimony, spousal
support or property rights in the event of annulment or divorce
based upon the discovery of fraud.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
