AN ACT
Providing for the time period for recording deeds from sheriff
sales.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Short title.
This act shall be known and may be cited as the Sheriff's
Sale Recording Act.
Section 2. Time period for recording deeds from sheriff sales.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, all deeds and
conveyances concerning any real property conveyed or sold at
sheriff sales shall be recorded within 45 days of the conveyance
or sale, provided that all costs, assessments and fees related
to the conveyance or sale have been met or paid, as provided
under the act of March 18, 1775 (1 Sm.L, No.704), entitled "A
supplement to the act, entitled 'An act for acknowledging and
recording of deeds.'"
Section 3. Applicability.
This act shall apply to all sheriff sales conducted on or

after the effective date of this section.
Section 4. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
